Amicus Cafe

Open on Sundays - A relaxed, contemporary space on Paul Street, Amicus has a classic Sunday Brunch Menu with the Hangover Brunch in particular (with Veggie option) a favourite with regulars.

Located in the heart of Cork’s Huguenot quarter Amicus is housed in a late 19th century listed warehouse with stone & brick walls, double height ground floor, two storey windows and exposed timber kingpost roof structure which lends itself ideally to a spectacular dining space. The contemporary, light filled, spacious setting creates an ideal dining ambience.

As a family run business established in 2001 by Robert & Ursula Hales their mission is to provide their guests with flavoursome dishes, freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Service that is friendly and efficient, in surroundings that are bright modern and welcoming.

They are open 7 days a week serving breakfast to dinner and everything in-between. Fully licenced they have a well-chosen wine list, house infused cocktails and a selection of craft beers & ciders.

Their menu features modern Irish & European dishes with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. They grow their own fruit, vegetables & herbs when in season at their kitchen gardens in Moneygurney, Douglas.  These are freshly picked daily and used in their dishes, house cocktails and homemade ice-creams, jams and preserves.

They are also supplied by some of Cork’s finest growers and suppliers including the renowned English Market. Delicious treats are baked daily in their in-house bakery using both their own and Locally Sourced Produce
