Franciscan Well Brewery

One of the oldest and best loved craft brewers in Cork, the Franciscan Well boys have their own micro-brewery, pub & pizzeria in the heart of Cork, you can visit them at the Franciscan Well and there are organised tours, tastings and demonstrations of the fine art of craft brewing.

The Franciscan Well began brewing in 1998 on the historic North Mall in Cork City and is built on the site of an old Franciscan Monastery and Well, dating back to the year 1219. Legend has it that the water from the well has miraculous and curative properties and people would come from far and wide for its healing properties.

Tours run Sunday to Thursday at the following times: 
2pm- Tour with Beer Tasting 
4pm- Tour with Beer & Caskmates Tasting 
6pm- Tour with Beer Tasting 
Booking is advised and tickets are €10 pp
