Murph's Tavern

Brother and sister team Michael and Laura Cashman have rescued a derelict old pub in a very hidden away part of Cork harbour and transformed it into must-visit in the East Cork area. Chef Michael is firmly committed to locally sourced ingredients and Laura looks after the front of house. A real family affair, in a special setting, on a little inlet, overlooking a harbour for pleasure boats. Magical and a half an hour’s drive from the city centre.

Their aim was to provide to the public good local fresh produce. Laura at front of house makes sure everyone that walks into Murph’s feels comfortable and satisfied.

While Michael the head chef does his magic in the kitchen with the good fresh food that he is provided with. Michael has many year’s experience behind him and couldn’t wait to put his own menu out to the public.

It’s very important to Laura & Michael that all produce is local and fresh. Some of their suppliers are O’ Farrell’s Meats in Midleton, East Ferry Free Range and Ballycotton Seafood
