In the market town of Midleton, close by the famous Jameson Whiskey Distillery, you will find the celebrated Sage Resturant with its famous “12-Mile Rule”, instigated by chef Kevin Aherne, a passionate champion of local produce.

Sage is close by the sea and surrounded by some of the richest farmland in northern Europe. So their ethos is simple. As many ingredients as possible must come from within 12 miles of their door. The result is a celebration of Cork’s very best.
