West Cork Garlic

Since the start of the business in 2011, West Cork Garlic has been grown on land near Ballynacarriga, Enniskeane which has proven to produce great tasting garlic.

"After the success of selling through local Farmers/Country Markets, supermarkets and wholefood shops the name "The Garlic People!" was soon an adopted title! Today we want to share with you our passion for garlic and its countless benefits.

On our smallholding we have planted 10 different varieties of garlic plants with origins in many parts of Europe and Asia for you to choose and treat yourselves with. We offer garlic for the kitchen, from mild to strong tasting varieties (June onwards) and seed for sowing (August to December). There is nothing more rewarding than growing your own garlic. We can provide you with the best Irish grown varieties that have been proven to grow well in our climate and have been successful over the years here in West Cork (Imported seed can prove to be unsuccessful in this climate)."
